CBS Drama goes full-time on Freeview

CBS Drama is upgrading its Freeview presence with a full 24/7 feed returning to the platform.


Currently only on-air between 1pm and 11pm, the channel will go full-time from 1st November 2019.
The expansion of broadcast hours, which has been restricted on Freeview since November 2017, is made possible by using spare capacity that has become available over the summer, when Sony reshuffled its channel portfolio.
A month ago, Quest+1 and Hochanda also moved to full-time operations on Freeview thanks to additional capacity being available to end previous timeshares.

The change to CBS Drama's broadcast hours also benefit YouView users (BT, TalkTalk and Plusnet TV).
