Sky Q adds XITE music app

Sky Q users are gaining access to a new music app, providing a one-stop show for music fans and more competition for traditional music channels.

The new XITE app, which begins its roll-out today includes a dedicated music section where customers can easily find and watch the music they love, promising to provide a "personalised video experience on the big screen".

Customers can customise their own playlist by selecting a style, era or mood and create their perfect music video mix, as well as searching for favourite videos or specific artists.

With the Freemium model of XITE, no subscription or log in is required so customers can dive straight in to a world of music videos and all the songs they love, or quickly and easily upgrade online to Premium for an ad-free experience.

Liz Wynn, Director of Sky TV said:
This is brilliant news for customers, Sky Q brings together all the music you love, all in one place, with the new XITE app right next to Spotify and You Tube on the big screen.

Sky Q users will see the XITE app appear in the music and apps section during the course of the next few weeks.
