FreeSports has launched a new way to watch its channel via the internet and on mobile.
The FreeSports Player, an extension of its sister channel's Premier Player, has now gone live.
To watch FreeSports for free via the live stream, viewers need to register an account at https://www.freesportsplayer.tv/
The service also contains on-demand programmes from the channel. Apps for Android and iOS are available.
The FreeSports Player also acts a upsell tool for Premier Sports: for an additional monthly fee, viewers can opt for enhanced access, which gives them access to the pay TV channels Premier Sports 1 and 2 and La Liga TV.
Anyone who already subscribes to the Premier Player will not need to re-subscribe for the FreeSports Player.
Last year, FreeSports pulled its free live stream from streaming service TVPlayer, but became available in September via the STV Player, as part of a wider deal between Premier Sports and STV.
