The sudden suspension of programmes has affected both Sky and Freesat viewers, with the channel's satellite feed now showing a black screen.
The channel has been around for the last two years, initially on Sky, then joining Freesat last summer.
Earlier this evening, a stream of the channel was still available via the Channelbox service on Freeview channel 271.
There has been no explanation to the loss of service. The only tweet published on the Twitter feed listed on its website is also somewhat unusual:

Fans of classic movies can still get their fix of older films on either Talking Pictures, Sony Movies Classic or TCM Movies.
