After an 18 month break, the international television service from the Netherlands and Flanders has returned to Astra 19.2E.
BVN TV's move will increase the reach of its service to reach more Dutch-speaking viewers across Europe with the latest news and developments surrounding the global Covid-19 outbreak.
Since the autumn of 2018, BVN has only been broadcast via the Hotbird satellite in Europe. Although theoretically both satellites can easily received anywhere in Europe, including the UK and Ireland, satellite installations vary considerably from country to country affecting which services are realistically available, especially when staying in accommodation where amending the satellite dish is off-limits.
