Sky and BT drop pub sub cost

Sky and BT have told pub and club owners they won't be charging them while the Coronavirus knocks out live sport.

As the Government tells the public to avoid places such as pubs and live sports events are cancelled around the world, Sky Business customers have been told they won't need to worry about the cost of their subscription.

In a move backdated to 14th March 2020, Sky will waive the charge to commercial premises until a live sports schedule resumes.

Meanwhile, BT Sport Business customers will get a two week break from their subscription fee, after BT's schedule was also stripped bare by recent events.
