The company behind TVPlayer has joined up with Samsung to provide smart TV users with additional channels.
All newer Samsung Smart TVs have in-built access a guide called TV Plus, which provides access to additional linear channels delivered via the internet, on top of any traditional free-to-air channels available at a viewer's location.
Alchimie, which took over TVPlayer last year, is now distributing up to twelve of its own-brand channels via the Samsung platform in the UK, Spain, France and Italy.
The channels include
Big Name, featuring documentaries on renowned figures
MMA TV with its mixed martial programming;
Humanity which shows award winning current affairs and geopolitical programming
... and a range of others covering Sports, Lifestyle, Special Interests and Music.
