The Roku Channel comes to Sky Q, Now TV and Roku: your guide to the service

US streaming provider's service was added to Sky Q and other boxes on Tuesday morning.

The Roku Channel is now also available on Now TV devices and Roku boxes/Players in the UK.

The streaming service provides access to entertainment, lifestyle and children's programmes on supported devices. Each country where the Roku Channel operates in has a slightly different line-up.

What's on The Roku Channel?
The UK version of the service includes
Homes Under the Hammer,
The Commander,
Ultimate Force,
Fifth Gear,
Skins,
Britain’s Best Bakery
Hollywood hits including Get Carter, The Wicker Man and Les Miserables.

There is also a Kids and Family section, with programmes including
Bob the Builder,
Teletubbies,
Oddbods,
Bernard,
Ryan’s World Specials,
Fireman Sam.

Does The Roku Channel cost extra?
No. The service is an ad-funded video-on-demand service, which means viewers with supported devices do not need to pay extra for the service.

What Sky channel number is The Roku Channel on?
The Roku Channel is a streaming service. It doesn't have a channel number. Sky Q users will find it in the on-demand section, alongside all the other apps on the Sky Q platform.

What's the purpose of The Roku Channel?
The Roku Channel has been designed to showcase content from existing publishers on the Roku platform as well as new publishers to drive additional viewership of their entertainment.

The Roku Channel in the UK features over 40 content partners, including All3Media International, EndemolShine Group, FilmRise, pocket.watch, DRG, plus Hollywood studios such as Lionsgate and Sony Pictures Television.
