Classic Hollywood movie collection debuts on the BBC iPlayer

The BBC has launched a collection of 23 vintage Hollywood films for viewers to stream on the iPlayer.

The 23 films now available to stream include the original version of monster movie King Kong (pictured) and Orson Welles' Citizen Kane.

The films on offer were produced by RKO Pictures - which at the time was one of Hollywood's major film studios and associated with many groundbreaking movies during what is now referred to as "Hollywood's Golden Age".
