Early return to regular Freeview hours for Together

Together will be back to its usual Freeview hours a week earlier than previously announced.

In a change to the channel's announcement earlier this month, Freeview users will regain full access to the channel at noon on 26th May 2020.

The service on Freeview channel 88 has been cut since mid-May, with programmes only available from 10pm. For viewers able to receive the +1 channel on 89, this has meant a strange situation, whereby the full schedule is still available, but only on a timeshift basis.

The reduction of broadcast hours was a result of a reconfiguration of services on the multiplex it broadcasts on. Together TV previously announced that the restoration of hours would take place on 2nd June.

Coinciding with the extension in Freeview broadcast hours on Freeview, Now 70s is leaving its current slot on the digital terrestrial TV platform. The dual transmission of 4Music and 4seven following a frequency change is also due to end this coming week.

Sky, Virgin Media and Freesat are unaffected by these changes.
