Sky has started to bill its customers for the period 19th June - 30th June, as live football from the Premier League and the Championship returns alongside live Golf from the PGA Tour.
The pay TV broadcaster has confirmed that those who took up the Sky Sports Pause offer will see billing resume for Sky Sports Golf & Premier League subscribers including those on Complete Sky Sports, single channel packs, and also two, or three channel packs in June. Anyone who just subscribes to the Sky Sports F1 channel will be billed once the first event of the season takes place. These change apply to viewers who subscribe directly to Sky.
Subscribers who access Sky Sports via a different TV platform should contact their provider for information on subscription changes.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports for Business customers will continue to see their subscriptions paused until Government advice changes allowing pubs and clubs to re-open.
BT Sport has already resumed live sport, with coverage of the Bundesliga in May and Premier League and FA Cup coverage to follow. While BT has offered its direct customers a full credit for April and May, BT has reduced this credit to 50% in June. Customers have a choice of a credit of 50% of their normal sport subscription for June, or the option to donate 50% of their normal sport subscription to NHS charities. But customers who signed up to a new sports package since 14th May 2020 aren't eligible.
Virgin Media has confirmed that it will stop applying credits to customer's bills to cover the cost of the sports channels as live sport resumes this month and will issue an update shortly.
Now TV offers monthly, weekly and daily access to Sky Sports - viewers will just need to start a new sports pass in time for whenever their favourite sport covered by Sky Sports returns.
