Users of newer Chromecast devices can now benefit from improved picture resolution and Dolby Digital sound.
Now TV has now enabled its Boost option on Chromecast 3rd Generation and Chromecast Ultra devices, although users may need to ensure they have the latest version of the Now TV app running.
This means more users can now opt to watch Now TV channels in full HD and with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.
Now TV Boost has a £3 a month charge and can be added to any existing entertainment, sports and movie passes or any combination of these, excluding the Sports Mobile Month Pass.
Users of the older 1st and 2nd generation Chromecast devices will not be able to use Now TV Boost - they are the versions that have a Chrome logo instead of the letter G on the side or top. Chromecast support is also not yet available on Now TV Ireland.
