Disney+ has proved popular with users in the first three countries that the streaming service has launched in.
10 million subscribers have signed up to access on-demand content from Disney, its subsidiaries and its film studios, offering content from National Geographic to Pixar under one roof.
As the service struggled with demand, thousands of users reported error messages during Disney+'s first day in the USA, Canada and The Netherlands. At the time, Disney said it was experiencing higher than expected customer demand.
First day numbers were reportedly three times higher than the figures analysts had been predicting, but Disney's figures didn't reveal how many of the 10 million subscribers were benefiting from free promotions.
To put the 10 million figure in context, Netflix has over 158 million subscribers worldwide.
Disney+ launches a week later than originally billed in Australia and New Zealand (19th November), and at the end of March 2020 in the UK, Ireland and other parts of Western Europe, with further roll-outs in Eastern Europe and other parts of the world by 2021.
