Post Xmas launch for 1970s music TV channel

The UK is to get a dedicated 70s music TV channel from 27th December.

The operators of the NOW Music channels confirmed on Saturday that NOW 70s would launch on Sky and Virgin Media straight after Christmas.

NOW 70s will take the channel slot previously used by Total Country.  The launch follows the trial inclusion of 70s music slots on NOW 80s.

For the past few weeks, NOW 80s has been holding the slot, while its channel slot was temporarily converted to a Christmas music channel.
