Disney has been outlining its next moves ahead of a wider global launch of Disney+ this year.
Disney+ will be launching in the UK and Ireland at the end of March, with the service rolling out to Eastern Europe and the rest of the world by the end of next year.
Disney+ is the home of movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic and is already live in a handful of countries.
This year, as Disney+ becomes available across the British Isles, subscribers have been promised the return of Hilary Duff in Lizzie McGuire, Marvel Studios’ first original series The Falcon & the Winter Soldier and WandaVision, as well as the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the latest Muppets unscripted series Muppets Now.
Original movies include Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made, Stargirl, The Phineas & Ferb Movie: Candace Against the Universe and Secret Society of Second Born Royals.
Also due in 2020 are docuseries Rogue Trip and Becoming, plus the second seasons of Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian and High School Musical: The Series.
Disney+ will also be the exclusive streaming home of blockbuster films including Aladdin, Toy Story 4 and The Lion King.
