Factual channel change at Now TV

New month, new station line-up for Now TV Entertainment Pass users.

Nat Geo Wild has today been replaced by National Geographic channel in the latest reconfiguration of channels on the service.

It's the first planned change to Now TV's factual channel offering this spring, with owner Sky still planning to launch Sky Documentaries, Sky History and Sky Nature on to the service this spring - but several weeks later than the 7th April date originally indicated by its ad sales division.

It's part of launch delay, affecting all platforms. RXTVlog understands the exact new launch date is yet to be set in stone due to the current outbreak situation, which has created a period of volatility for broadcasters, a suspension of some activities until late May or early June and a redeployment of resources to maintain existing services.

There will be no changes to the standard pricing of the Entertainment Pass as a result of the changes.

The National Geographic channels affected by the Now TV change are now part of Disney, who are making phased changes to inear services in the UK and around the world, as Disney+ is put centre stage by the company.

The changes also affect BT TV customers who have moved over to one of their new TV packages. As a bonus though, BT TV customers can now watch the Disney-owned Fox UK channel in HD.
