The previously unannounced move will be of special interest to viewers who have ditched all forms of traditional TV, relying solely on their internet connection.
Sky News has appeared alongside the newly rebranded Sky History and the newly launched Sky Nature and Sky Documentaries on the Entertainment Pass.
The move gives users access to more of Sky's own-brand channels without having to leave the Now TV app, as was the case previously to watch Sky News.
