Factual and Lifestyle channel changes at Virgin Media UK

The cable TV company has been tidying up its factual & lifestyle channel offer.

The new channel numbers, effective immediately, mean there are new homes for some of Discovery's services including Food Network, HGTV and Discovery Shed.

Factual changes - 21st May 2020
285 - Food Network moved from 278.
286 - HGTV moved from 279.
287 - Home & Health moved from 280.
288 - Discovery Shed moved from 281.
289 - Travel Channel moved from 282.
290 - HGTV+1 moved from 283.
291 - Home & Health+1 moved from 284.
292 - GOD moved from 287.
293 - Horse & Country moved from 298.

Viewers selecting now unused channel numbers will see a redirection slate. A further change to Virgin Media's factual channel line-up will follow soon.
